Ported Dart Ironeagles SBC 2.08 valves
For sale is a set of Dart Ironeagle 200cc heads with 64cc chambers. They are fully ported and have stainless 2.08/1.60 valves. Intake runners, exhaust runners and chambers have all been reworked and they look great. I never had them flowed, but they worked very well on my 406. It pulled right up to 6500 with my XE284 hydraulic flat tappet cam and victor jr. Plenty of low end too.
They are about 9 yrs old and I had them gone through two years ago. I put about 8000 miles on them since then. All valve seats were replaced at that time, along with the valves and springs. The springs are Comp 986 duals with steel retainers. 117# at 1.800 installed height and 310# at 1.200. 1.150 coil bind .600 max lift. They will work with flat tappet or hydraulic roller cams. ARP 7/16" rocker studs are also 2 yrs old. Guide plates are 4-5 yrs old with no wear.
These heads are $537 each in Summit and that's with 2.05 valves, not 2.08 and no porting. I'll take $995 plus shipping for the pair. That's a great deal when you add up the valve upgrade and the porting. Porting alone would be $500.

Nah, I sold them on ebay. I got $710 plus shipping for them. My original price was obviously way high, which I had feared. The iron is what killed it. No one wants iron heads.
I didn't update this thread because I got zero interest, no PMs, nothing.
