468 Forged BBC Merlin Heads w/ BTE th400 Just figured I would see if there are any takers here. Motor/tranny is still in car. I would take $4500 shipped for the motor if someone didn't want the tranny. I also might be interested in a LS style trade. (270)556-5503 if you have any questions....located in Paducah, KY
468 BBC, cast iron World Product Merlin heads, TRW forged pistons, H beam rods, Forged crank, 4 bolt main, Complete comp cams valvetrain(mech solid roller), Dart intake, 950 Holley Double pumper, MSD ingnition w/ Digital 6AL (pro billet dist.) Elec water pump, Jet Hot coated headers(Hooker) Powermaster Alternator. Compression is around 12.1 and I run 93 pump gas with timing backed down around town, than 110 when I race. With aluminum heads and different gaskets, might even be fine to just run 93. Motor has maybe 400 miles since being built and is currently in my 69 Camaro. It has gone 6.92@104 in the 1/8th and probably would be better if my car's suspension was dialed in.
Also have a BTE TH400 w/ transbrake, reverse manual valvebody, W/ 4600 RPM Yank converter to go with it. I'm asking $6500 for everything. I have pictures I will try to post up or can e-mail. Please feel free to ask any questions.
