My old turbo from my truck is for sale. It is a Precision Turbo PT76GTSH. T4 flange, 3" v-band outlet on the turbine housing. 4" inlet, 3" outlet on the compressor side. Turbine housing is a .96 a/r.
It needs, at a minimum, a new turbine wheel and a rebuild of the center housing (new seals and bearings). The compressor wheel looks good to me. I called Precision and was quoted $400 for turbine wheel and $200 for bearings and seals, and approx 2-3 months repair time since they are backlogged. I don't want to deal with sending it back, so I'm going to take a hit on it and sell it cheap. The flange for the oil drain that is shown in the pic below is not included.
Looking to get $200 plus shipping for this. SOLD!!!
PLEASE NOTE....the quote that I received from Precision was an estimate only and was based on the condition that I gave them over the phone, which is correct to the best of my knowledge. It may be possible that there is more damage to this unit that I can see, but I have tried my best to get as accurate of information as possible. If you buy this, you are doing so at your own risk and accept the possibility that the repair bill might be higher than the estimate I have given here.
Here's the present condition of the turbine wheel, and you can see that there's a problem with the seals as well.
