LoL that's a big *** shot of N2O. Looking forward to seeing that.
I'm stoked, the weather is looking good for this. A little sun for the pavement and nice "turbo air" as George calls it.

I am planning on heading out at 8am here. No reason to rush to a cold track I have done that before LOL!
So if things go well I should be slipping in PR around 9-9:30
BTW The only thing red was the "Good to Go" LED on the WBC

We got there at 10:15, 1st run @ 12:45, 2nd run @ 4:00. There must have been 250 cars out there. They waited till about 11:00 to run the 1st cars. For the most part it was a typical day at Pacific Raceways. My 1st pass was a respectable 11.77 @116 mph. Ran N20 on the 2nd pass but fell just short of my 1st 10 second pass. 11.11@123.86 mph, 1.58 60 ft. The n20 was coming on and off through the whole run. Guess I'll have to wait till next year.

What a waste! We spent good money at the track for not nearly any thing in return. If it had not been for good friends it would have been a total bust.
There were alot of PB's today but nothing of what most were looking for. The track was slick the first pass and so so the last with NOTHING in between LOL!
I will be sitting down and writing a leter to the owners of the track asking them how much worse it is going to get before they actually hire some one who knows how to run it.

I got one run, my first run, at 1:41pm. A long wait, but I got what I wanted!
60: 1.601
6.744@107.76
10.279@142.21
Afterwards, the staging lanes were backed WAY up and not moving. I didn't feel like getting in that line, so I sat it out. The guy pitted next to me said it took 3 hours to get his 2nd run. Someone in the bleachers put it well, today was "unproductive".
As for my run, it was the best ever and the launch was not even that good. Spun hard and tagged the rev limiter in 1st. The shifting is good again, and with more runs I could have shaved a couple tenths. Oh well, gotta save something for next year! I got a video I'll post up later.
It was good seeing everyone out there.

Figures. I know they were planning on putting a chicane(sp?) in the road course to allow for a full .5 mile braking zone. How much of a braking zone is the NEW standard?

Well the Currect Drag Strip has the shut down needed and easily modified to the new standards. The Planned one Did not from what I hear. Then again they started waving those plans How long ago? And have not even started on that part from what I could tell today.
