Just remember when you take that 75 yard shot that you will have to explain to a jury of you "liberal" peers, how he was a threat that far away.

Agreed, I would hope I never have to aim it at a person ever.
BUT if someone is shooting at me from across the street.. some neighbor who had a switch flip in his/her head and is now taking shots at anyone, I'm not going to sit by and let it continue if i can do something about it.

It's all hypothetical or course and worse case scenerio but you want to be able to stop someone no matter where they are if you perceive them as a threat to your family and your life.

I'm thinking I should be able to find a decent .45 for 5-650 used?

Sig Sauer P220 .45cal w/Night Sights

$560.. ? good deal or is that new pricing? pristine condition how does it rate?

This P220 pistol is in pristine condition. I purchased it last year and it had not been fired. I have never fired it. It HAS been handled and the slide racked. So it is in less than new condition, but it looks almost new. I put brand new Trijicon night sights on it and they are less than a year old. It has Hogue rubber grips and the factory grips are in the case. It has the factory case, manual and 2 Sig 8 round factory magazines.

What should I be looking for in a deal?

Man I wish the OT @ work hadn't gone away so I could've bought something by now lol.

The Para-Ords used to be $800, a couple months ago they were up around $1050 for the .45 13+1 hi-cap light double action (DAO 3lb trigger) w/ power extractor and 3.75" barrel. Don't even want to know what they're at now.

I rented all the .45's Wades had one day. I shot the USP and just didn't like how it felt in my hand and how the trigger was... I really didn't like the click switch feel of the kimber customs. Pretty much fell in love with the para-ords, used to like the glock 21 because of the way it fit my hand and it was pretty much a point-shoot for me.

Did you know.....

One of our esteemed members of congress recently presented a bill that, IF passed, would have allowed the government to confiscate OUR guns in the event of a national crisis!

I'm not sure who did this, but you'll be glad to know it failed & McCain AND Obama voted against it.

That said, my pistol of choice has always been a 357 revolver. Last time I tried I hit 5 out of 6 oranges at 25 ft with mine. My rifle of choice is a 7mm Mag because it shoots flat to ~ 400 yds & can flip a 300lb deer onto it's antlers (I used to own a Browning auto).

Holy **** now thats a hand cannon!! LOL

As far as guns and the constitution there is only one administration who stepped on it with the Patriot act.. so my guess as to who had suggested moping up the guns would be the same administration that took our rights away with the Patriot act that they had to enact after letting us get attacked by someone they setup in business.

You guys are really naive when it comes to this stuff... or just turning your heads the other way to support the party.

But enough of that, we're moving foward!

When you have a few minutes, listen to this and see why conservatives have trouble with Bush and what this "party" has become.

It's known as "The Speech" and it's more true today than it was then.
