I'm on several other sites and if the MODS would stay out it useally dies out on its own.

If the post become personal attacks on individuals you remove the problem children not punish the entire community.
I see more personal attacks on the "bad trader" feedback forums. I thought our political thread was rather mild mannered.

If you didn't care what happened to me,
And I didn't care for you
We would zig zag our way
through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain
Wondering which of the buggers to blame
And watching for pigs on the wing.

Now now, this is only for The Wall stuff

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown
The dream is gone
And I have become
Comfortably numb.

The thought police have arrived Don.

When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children in any way they could
.......
When they got home at night, their fat and
Psychopathic wives would thrash them
Within inches of their lives.

Did you ever wonder
Why we had to run for shelter
When the promise of a brave new world
Unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

Hasn't been my doing Don, I was appreciating the political discussions in this forum since it affects us local and across the nation. Deleting posts because someone doesn't agree is censure - I thought the reason we have the ability to discuss such things is (for the most part) being a nation of democracy.

Ah well, John has been filling me in on how other nations in the middle east are just starting to grasp that notion. Deployments are interesting that way.

Good thing those things do not effect our lives in any way.
I think the moderator of that forum was far too busy watching threads turn into some real nasty name calling. You can only lock so many threads in a day...YB & SSU???

Thanks Amy.

Okay then, censorship is alive and well here on tech.

I had refered Blanco to a 1964 Reagan speech and gave him props for listening to it. We had a very friendly discussion on the content and some of the irony. Certianly nothing as offensive as our own "Hopping ****".

Here it is again for those of you who might have missed it. "The Speech" gives me comfort in these troubled times.

Momma loves her baby
And daddy loves you too.
And the sea may look warm to you babe
And the sky may look blue
But ooooh Baby
Ooooh baby blue
Oooooh babe.

If you should go skating
On the thin ice of modern life
Dragging behind you the silent reproach
Of a million tear-stained eyes
Don't be surprised when a crack in the ice
Appears under your feet.
You slip out of your depth and out of your mind
With your fear flowing out behind you
As you claw the thin ice.

"....we came in?"
So ya
Thought ya
Might like to go to the show.
To feel the warm thrill of confusion
That space cadet glow.
Tell me is something eluding you, sunshine?
Is this not what you expected to see?
If you wanna find out what's behind these cold eyes
You'll just have to claw your way through this disguise.

"Lights! Turn on the sound effects! Action!"
"Drop it, drop it on 'em! Drop it on them!!!!!"

YB of course

Daddy's flown across the ocean
Leaving just a memory
Snapshot in the family album
Daddy what else did you leave for me?
Daddy, what'd'ja leave behind for me?!?
All in all it was just a brick in the wall.
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall.

"You! Yes, you! Stand still laddy!"

The Happiest Days of our Lives!

When we grew up and went to school
There were certain teachers who would
Hurt the children in any way they could
"OOF!" [someone being hit]
By pouring their derision
Upon anything we did
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids
But in the town, it was well known
When they got home at night, their fat and
Psychopathic wives would thrash them
Within inches of their lives.

Your friends on here still love you Don, & that's all that really matters.....

As for Ellis, one only has to look at the front door of his garage to know what his friends think of him.

Sorry, I couldn't find a Floyd song to cover that.

Oh, wait, maybe................

So I open my door to my enemies
And I ask could we wipe the slate clean
But they tell me to please go **** myself
You know you just can't win

That'll work
