If memory serves the blue in '06 is different from the '07-08 blue.....so you do have a unique one. How many miles did it have on it?

Yup, the later years are darker and closer to the NBM from the F bodies. I looked at a demo in that color when I was searching but they were assinine about the price.......all in all, I am happy with my red baby, also from Eve Chevrolet.

20k is barely broken in, nice find, there are a few good TBSS forums out there with good deals and info for modding if you are interested...

Yeah but yours sounds **** Nasty now

Rott I believe you can Add a GM changer to the system like they do in the trucks I have looked at putting a GM Nav in my truck but would have to also put in the changer.

Can you? I had been asking on the TBSS boards after I got it and they all say no........maybe they have something worked out by now.

My biggest reason for liking the factory Nav is that it isn't suctioned to my windshield so every punk in the area doesnt think about busting my window and taking it.....well worth it just for that IMHO.

I had a nice kenwood double din nav that was fully loaded with garmin software. Very sweet. Came in a car I had. I would never have purchased it because retail was about 1500 on this unit.

If I were going to go from non nav to dash nav i'd probably go aftermarket, unless I could get a factory one for super cheap.

I agree, just meant that I am glad it came with it, otherwise I would not have bought an aftermarket one like a Garmin for the above reasons......we got our SS in a slick deal that came with the Nav, rear DVD, etc, wouldn't have got one with those either normally.......but it does keep the munchkins quiet on car rides.

Why go through the trouble of finding a changer then installing it. Buy an iPod, that’s what I did. Now I have my nav and my music, plus I don’t have to worry about a bunch of cd’s anymore. Having the ability to put 20,000 songs on something the size of a cell phone is great.

Well......cuz I have the factory stereo/nav setup that doesnt have an ipod hookup.......so it would make less sense to buy a new stereo that I could hook one up to than just seeing if a changer will fit my ride.

I believe they sell ipod adapters that will integrate to the factory deck.

Havent seen them but also havent looked.......just not that big of a deal I reckon. Had the truck for almost 2 yrs now and it really hasn't been an issue, more like one of those.....if I ever see one when I am out, maybe I will get it things.

I can tell you they do because I have one. It’s called the isimple and it allows you to control your iPod through the factory stereo/nav setup, if you don’t feel like installing that get a good fm transmitter.
