Default I shouldda had a V8...

Nice color, good price, good choice

Parked next to a new Tundra at HD last week, asked the owner how he liked it.
"I really should have bought an SS, this thing sucks. It's been in the shop 3 times and it's new".
yeah...money doesn't buy brains

It's good that you got a different color, most of the vehicles that size and weight are yellow. Sorry, there are few things on the road I detest more than FUV's.

If I could afford one I'd almost consider trading the WS6 in for one, unfortunately with the dogs and how little I actually make it to the track the WS6 isn't practical for me anymore. not that I don't love it though

Beautiful TBSS and awesome deal!

Don't know how I missed this post. Nice TBSS man. My next ride will either be a 05-06 GTO or one of these. Good color too.

Well the wifey has now driven a full tank out of it and according to the DIC she's averaging 15.5. Our old 04 with the I6 averaged the same.

So I go and fill it up, put on about 75 miles...my avg is 12.8. I didn't know I was THAT much heavier than my wife.

Today roads were wet, turned off trac control, hammered it out of home depot turning onto a back road and the rear went into a slide, wierd thing is it was still pulling through the corner. It was a completely different kind of slide compared to how my R slides when it's wet.

I'm gonna have to get out in an open lot and get the feel for this thing.

Yeah, I don't get out on the freeway much, and I average 11.5 - 12. My old LS1/6-spd did much better around town.......but like I said, no regrets.

I was out playing last night with hp tuners, and a stopwatch and from what I can tell i'm getting a consistent 5.4 0-60 times on a stock tune and bone stock vehicle. I found a tune on hp tuners website that someone had posted and the feedback i'm reading on his thread is quite positive. I'm going to give it a try this weekend when I can get the rig outta wifey's hands.

I don't think I would have paid the extra to order it, but since it was already on the truck when I found it, I didn't mind paying for it. In my opinion, it beats having the obvious signs of a Garmin or TomTom in the vehicle and it getting broken into......but it isn't perfect. I bought my wife a Garmin, she loves it, it works great, but also has it's downside. My biggest gripe is not being able to program it while the vehicle is moving, even the passenger can't. Otherwise it works fine but you also can't play a CD at the same time you have the GPS DVD in there, so that bites. And the last time I checked, there were no add on disc changers that hooked right up, like a GM style one.

Overall, if it is in the vehicle, I wouldn't have it removed, but I am not positive I would spend the coin to get it special if it didn't have it.
