Steph, Glad to hear your mom is OK. Your right, 2008 sucked *****. My mom died in August, then my Grandma in December. Whole lot of emotions that come with that stuff. Glad Ellis was there to be your support system. There is nothing like family to get you through the rough times.

He has an 89 GMC extended cab long bed that needs new snow tires. The snow in Olympia was about a foot deep with ice on top and ice on bottom, so when you step on it, it crunches through. Then it was warming up so it was wet and really slippery underneath. We could barely walk on it let alone drive..and their driveway is on a slope on a busy road so everytime he made it to the top a car would be coming and he couldn't take off again so he'd have to back up and try again and hope someone wasn't coming. Imagine bieng in that situation while your wife is next to you having a heart attack.

Ellis fixed it though, they could drive my moms toyota camry out of it by the time he got done...and he also got on my brothers for not having it fixed already since they all live near there. I think they will make sure it's kept driveable from now on and they keep their ringers on their phones now too.

Yeah Doug, I was really sorry to hear about your Mom and Grandma and I did think about you this weekend. There has been a lot of crap going on this year. I just lost an Aunt in October also. Lets get this year overwith and start next year on a better note!

and yes I would have been lost without Ellis. He is definitely my Rock. Oh, and there are a couple nurses in St. Pete's Hospital that "REALLY" Love him too. My cheeks hurt he had us all laughing so hard the other night. Laughter is the best medicine they say.

Indeed laughter is the best medicine. We all told funny stories about my dad at his funeral. One of mine was when he got a ticket when he took me to get my 1st driver's license. He was NOT pleased, but I was laughing my *** off (on the inside)!

Your driveway was empty (except for the junker TA) when I left so I didn't call....

And your driveway was FUN to get up Ellis. Not sure if Doug's SS would make it.
