Ok, I just ordered LPP LTs w ORY, now i'm looking at an MS4 package from TSP...I'm about to order it BUT, i gotta go thru DEQ in July. Now my questions are, is the MS4 to crazy for DEQ? (I'm thinking
) Can I go through DEQ early? how many months early? or if I get a tune and throw some cats on (after the tune) will it throw off my tune? Another out is using a co workers address, (he lives in a non deq area) but, what if I get pulled over and my registration address is different from my home address, what will the cop say? Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The only problem your going to have is noise. If my 454 LSX car could get through DEQ I don't see you having a problem
ALL they do is a computer check, and if they think its too loud a noice test a 2k rpm which you will fail. But you can do whatever you want to quiet it down no matter how temporary.
My cobra just past and it has not cats they didn't even do a noise test.
So no codes and quiet exhaust and your golden.

I have the Borla with the second largest plate on mine and I don't recall them even checking the noise, just plugged into the OBDII port and said it passed.
I'm doing heads, a cam, LTs, and ORY soon though. Good thing I'm outside the DEQ area now, I just hope they don't change it!
