Transmission trouble

My brother's '04 Eclipse wont shift into 2nd (1st is hard too) when its cold outside or when the car hasn't warmed up. Once it has warmed up (~10-15mins of driving) things are fine. Is this a syncro problem? Even though they are several hours away, I'll probably be taking this to TJ or Ellis for fixing when the time is right. I can't imagine what it'd cost at a dealership...

The damn car was only 3-4 years old when this started, too. Of course, right after the warranty expired. Freakin' imports

what fluid are you using?

Try a 50/50 mix of red line MTL and GM Syncromesh

I hate to throw out names, but stay far away from Auto Repair Specialties. I would hate to see someone go through what myself and a friend went through with those jerk off's.
