Default Auto-X 2009 (Bremerton, Wa)

anyone here do it?

I love it,
it's soooo much fun showing the little AWD turbo cars that a 4300lb 500HP RWD car can do it too

http://bscc.net/

first Auto-X practace is Feb 15th http://bscc.net/component/option,com...iew/extid,120/
I will probably be outta town

March 1st is the Auto-X school
it's an awesome experience, you get a ride along instructor.
I learned sooooo much about my car and my own ability doing this.
http://bscc.net/component/option,com...iew/extid,121/

March 15th is "Event #1"
nothing to be scared of
the level of "competition" is pretty relaxed.

I wonder how my Hoosier 335 DRs would handle a road course. I certainly have ZERO traction my my Goodyear 315 F1s. And I want to open it up next time I go. You know, just in case Eric shows up in his Z06 & wants to pass me on the front straight away again.

I plan to be out this year Auto-X at those events. There is always a lesson to learn about how to truly handle your ride.

Hope to see you out there. I plan to drive this 3rd gen Camaro I picked up or my 4th gen TA see how they handle on the course.

funny,

most cars "handle the course" pretty well,
it's the drivers that dont

last year,
I took out my 180,000 mile 1988 Integra
20 year old suspension, ect...

still cut better times than a couple of the WRX (and other "Great handleing") type cars out there
