I want my rematches damn it..
thats almost exactly what i do, i just dont launch at 2300. ive treid it but i either bog or loose too much traction. but i guess i have all summer to practice some more.

I want a rematch for 9's with the stang. I want to be thrown out for being too fast, not noise I've never been in the single digits before, just once is enough......I lie, once it goes 9's, 8's are next. Gonna need something extra to do that though, we built the engine for nitrous, it's fully forged and hard filled. Hmm, 400 shot? Launch on 200, 200 in 2nd gear? I dunno, lol. It'll be on the drugs though sooner than later.

I'll be happy to run 10's on the motor this year once I get enough tire under it. This new engine should be able to handle a 200 shot without much worry. There's all kinds of things I'd love to be doing to the car this winter, but alas, not having a job and rebuilding the engine kinda limits things lol.... I was looking at the splines on my new forged yoke for the driveshaft and they are just barely starting to twist. Guess I'm gonna have to step up to a billet yoke now. It's just money lol....

Englishtown, that's what I was thinking of, thanks. NJ, Maryland,,,,, they're all the same. Add them together and they're still smaller in size than Washington or Oregon lol.... The sad thing is, that those two states probably have more dragstrips than Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Washington combined lol...

You have to look at population ... we have like what 1 million living in the great state of Oregon. They have like 1 million to a city out there

I'm from New England (think most of you know that) but I think the quality of life ( I include personal space) is better out here. We might not have all the hoopla and bells and whistles that they have but we enjoy a pretty darn good life out here. I've had many chances to move back but wont ever.
Just love it to much where I am. We have 5 frozen Volcano's to look at and ski on at on any given day, can fish or surf the Pacific within an hour of leaving home and have one of the mildest climates in the world. I honestly cant think of a better place to be

Anyway.. we have 2 strips close by and a couple up in WA... that are semi close

Man when NACAR was talking about bulding a track in Scapoose I was ready.

It would have been a drag strip as well and in my back yard !!
I would have got a job at the track doing something I'll tell ya that

Mike, how bad is the twisting? I know that on my uncle's 8 second ranger that he freaked when he saw the axle splines twisted. But the shop that made them said they were supposed to do that, and once they do, they would stay there since that's where the metal "wanted" to be. Not sure if it's a similar case, kind of curious I guess.

Got lots of plans for next summer h/c..stall/trans. 2nd stage is here. can't hold more than 100 off the line on the 17" dr's, stock everything out back.. What do you run Brandon?
