Yeah, I haven't seen the car in person yet, but I saw the vid from the first race I missed in April. Looks like a really nice car,,,, one of the passes he was trapping 134mph so if he gets the car to hook he'll be doing really good. I think this vid shows the car in the first part of it..... I'm hoping to run 10.70's so it should be a good match up.

Nice, ya he seems like a pretty cool guy. He tows a trailer to the track with his drag tires and gear with the gt500 it's pretty funny.

Your car should run good, that thing is a beast! I'm excited to see it run!

Like this pic below.... LOL... I guess I actually did see him at PIR on the night my car broke. I didn't realize it was the same guy til you mentioned the trailer lol... When we were sitting in the tech line getting checked-in he asked what my car ran and then asked if I wanted to run lol... My car showed up one time this year and it's already being called out by a supercharged Ford lol....

Hoping the weather is good next weekend and if so, I'll be at PIR to hopefully get more than one run....

Here's a few pics from the trans yoke carnage and replacement. Had to pull the tailhousing off the trans since the broken yoke wiped out the inner bushing. Got the new Billet Steel yoke and installed it in the car. Now I'm working on getting some other things finished up but it looks like I'll be ready for PIR this coming weekend. I feel alot more confident in the way the car is coming together this week. Finally got alot of the little things squared away and feeling good about making a some decent clean runs. Just hope the weather will cooperate.

Llooking really good mike, your car is so clean. I saw that mustang at the track that night too, only saw it run one time though and it didnt seem like it was running right deff not a clean run for that car (it was popping and he had to let off), however I saw it last year at woodburn at it ran good.

Here's some pics of the LCA Relocation brackets I've been working on the last day or two. Got both sides burned-in and ready to roll.... A heck of alot cheaper than buying the brackets....

Started with some 3/16" plate steel after making a cardboard template.

Welded some tabs on the insides to take up the space from being welded to the outside of the existing lca brackets on the housing.

Mocked up in place before welding.....

Welded in place and ready for paint.

Painted up and ready for some drag racing action lol...

looks really good man, again more to be said for your clean, attention to detail work. Have you had time to work on getting the 2 step working yet?

Yeah Mike, you always do the cleanest work. Have you had any time to put any street miles on it?

Thanks guys. I like welding and fabricating things as you may have noticed lol.... I'd LOVE to have a vertical milling machine and a metal lathe someday.

I haven't tried out the 2-step yet. That's one of the things I need to get nailed down today. Also haven't had the car out on the street since the breakage. Weather hasn't been too friendly around here lately and the slicks don't play well in the rain, especially with the spool. I'm starting to wonder if we're ever going to get a summer......
