Default Local Swap shop

The bug has hit, and I think I need an LSX in my 73 Firebird
Nothing too fancy, a 5.3 and 4L60 would be fine for starters.
However, I don't have enough time or facilities to do it myself.
Who's a decent NW shop I can trust for the job without single handedly sending their kids through college?

Hey, cool swap!! My friend Bobby has a 73 Firebird (Formula?) that we're going to be installing a T56 into sometime after the holidays. Eventually we'll be installing an LS engine but he wants the 6sp installed for the time being.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like Speed Secrets is only about a half hour away.

Hey that's sweet, both shops mentioned are great but if you could at least do some of the work it would save you a fortune.

The problem with the 5.3 is the front accesories and oil pan don't fit. IF they did I'd have done the swap already. By the time you get everything including a intake and TB from an ls1 your getting up there in $$$.

Thats why I'm going to buy the QT bellhousing, see if Mike can mod a MC to work in my 73 for now. I just blew a bunch of money on brakes, body bushings, exhaust, 18 inch wheels and suspension so the LS will have to wait until next winter.. I need to install everything and get the rear end set up with 3:73's before this summer.
