Spoke to the guys at Turbo Tech this morning - all is good for 14 Jan! One note they wanted to pass - this is pretty much for dyno runs only, unless whatever changes you want to do, you can do QUICKLY! They said $45 to use the sniffer for A/F readings.

I'm at 17 now, and will go up to 20 for the main list, however, they said that they have no problems CONTINUING to run when the list runs out if the line is going quickly and people are willing to hang out.

ADDITIONALLY - they also mentioned that they do have a gas grill there, and if we wanted to have a burger-burn or whatever they don't have any issues with that. The more the merrier! Not sure how we could pull that off, but if someone's interested we could all put up a few bucks a piece and pool our money together and have a runner go to the store and pick up the stuff....just another idear...

List is updated on first page/first post. Check there from now on! One guy mentioned he'd be willing to run to Costco or wherever for food if people were willing to pitch in some cash (donations only, $5-ish each??). I'll bring a cooler and some ice...

That be me...

So if my fenders and core support don't show up this next week I may trailer the car there to dyno. I could win an award for lowest hp that was trailered!! Old tired .060" over 350 w/ new cam, intake, and a free set of headers.

I stopped by last night on my way home. I've got 20 people ready to run and 8 on the backup/continue list. Should be a busy day; a local wheel company might even drop in as well (they have VERY nice quality stuff). They have a booth at all the Good Guys circuit events across the country, SEMA, and many vehicles have showed up recently with their wheels on them in Hot Rod and other mags as well. Kyle Busch recently had a '69 Camaro custom-built and it's also showcasing a set of their wheels on it.

I had a guy asking if he could run his Diesel but unfortunately since he's got stacks on it they don't want their shop full of black soot - bummer, this one supposedly lays down well north of 1,000 ft lbs!

They got some cool projects sitting in the shop - eyeballed a cherry '95 Impala SS w/ an LS7 in it. sweet

ALSO - those of you on the list, if you don't think you're going to make it let me know as soon as possible so I can adjust the list accordingly for everyone else. Weather is NOT a factor for the guys at Turbo Tech, they're just concerned people won't show, so if you're afraid of melting in rain let me know and I'll take you off the list!

I'll bring some buns and dogs. Will be there to hang out, but no dyno for me. Yet.

Rushforth. I was at a retirement ceremony with his wife Saturday and told her about it. She said she'd see if he could make it. I might stop by her work this week and follow up on this.

Jason and Melanie are both great people! I worked under Melanie for 4 months just recently. Surprising how many car guys don't know there's a wheel company right under their feet!

Thanks for organizing this. Wish I didn't have to leave early, had a 6+ hour drive home...and the snow was going to be trouble...
