I only said the shotguns cuz that's the gun in all zombie games to have lol. I know in real life something lighter that holds more rounds would be a better option. However, fully auto would definatly NOT be the gun to have in most cases during a zombie fest. U only need one round to kill a zombie, one to the head and ammo conservation is key to surviving in these situations. Semi-auto rifle or LMG is what you really want

I'm torn between a 14.5" and 16" barrel, but I'm leaning toward a 14.5".
Here's a little bit of what I'm after for the rest:
-Chrome lined barrel
-5.56 NATO
-1/7 twist
-M4 feed ramps
-Middy upper
-A3 upper receiver
I'm still researching the pros/cons of all the other items etc.. The idea of building my own AR is very intriguing.
I like the Daniel Defense stuff as well but haven't talked to anyone with personal experience.

the sickest AR i've ever shot was my little bro's Wilson Combat UT-15 Tactical........i'll probably never be able to do it again, but one day i shot a .126 3-shot group @100yds......that's 1/8th inch!!

Yeah buddy. I love my BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle. What size did you go with? I'm guessing Large to clear your optics. My buddy put one on his Bushmaster and it came in handy to help clear jams from it. Stand it upright and give the charging handle a swift heel kick and out comes the case Haven't had to do that on mine yet and hopefully I won't! 3k through it so far w/o a hiccup.

Yep.Mod 3 (large).Works awesome with my eotech setup.AR is a DPMS AP4 Carbine w/ 0 hiccups/FTF with about 1,500 Rounds through her.Usually use Brass cased with a few rounds of wolf steel case here and there.

How do you like the knoxx forend? I decided to keep my speedfeed LE forend on but curious for someone that has theres on.On my 870 if you look closely I modified the buttstock to take a Remington Supercell Pad b/c I loved it so much on factory stock.Got the knoxx to take out a lot of recoil and the Supercell made it even nicer and more comfortable.

Look for the house with the lights on post invasion/Apocalypse/Zombies. ;-)
But i will probably have shifted over and barricaded/fortified Target or Wal-Mart with a few well armed friends by the time you find me. Ammo, food, water, board games and batteries. Sounds like a good time to me.
