Looking 4 a great running beater / Help
So, I've been searching for a good reliable beater as a DD. No luck so far, most all have major issues like blown head gaskets and such. Looked at an 89k S10 4.3 blazer yestarday....ahg the tranny wasn't happy. Nopperz on that one. If any of ya'll know of something out there, let me know. The berd needs to cease and desist daily duty.

Zero would be great, but no more than .....1,500 bucks. Not sure about taking a risk on an 01 Taurus that's clean with 121k that I saw. I see Maximas are soft. Hhmm. Be nice to find a decent mazda B

went from roseburg, to portland, drove around, and back to salem on about $20-25. Insurance is $18 a month for liability.
Id take $1300 if you wanted it.

good luck man. id reconsider it. the whole reason i even bought this car is because my 03 s10 with a 4.3 2wd, was getting around 17mpg in town and 21-22 on the freeway. gas was killing me. my vette does better on the freeway then it did.
