Yeah my brothers car. I got him 2nd through 3rd then once we hit 4th he just kind of said hello then he missed 5th..I need gears bad..I wish someone was behind us when we started from a 1st gear roll, I'm sure it looked bad ***.. 1st gear spin, 2nd spin, rev limiter, let off, then spun some more and kept it floored.. All of this and the car was sideways back and forth!..it was a blast!!
Don't care if he pulled me in 4th or if he beat me all together. I would of been more pissed if I didn't know the guy cause I would be wondering what was done to it.

I might get an 11.70 out of the car on street rubber, but that just isn't fun for me. If you run 130, you can beat me on the street tires. I'm really racing to optimise the tune...and not doing a very good job of it.

I ran last Friday and Sat. Trying different tune approaches. Ran a best of 11.28 in the humidity. Sat was slower.....

Wed nights are open for 1/4 mile test and tune now as well. They will prep the track during the evening.

Did you get your car tuned yet?

The rest of you guys, come on out. Friday nights are best, very low car count and the track has actually been decent. Even Sat I got 5 passes and was BSing too much and trying to tune so could have got more.
Since last year, I've made over 100 passes, I'm going to wear the poor LS1 out!

Weird thing is, I raced the Civic in my Miata about 1 month ago (or so)....and walked away from him in a BAD way?!? Did something change with his car??

I'm guessing that all that spinning is what did ya in. Obviously, a gear change is in order for your car. All in good time

 

Yeah and i pulled you on the cruise...Yeah I walked away also till 4th I guess that gear is just a beast in those cars..but yeah gears are in need.

 

Just talked to my brother and he said his boost gauge was at 20+ which it made 380whp on 15lbs.. So I told him to find out hiw much boost he is making when he goes to lunch.. It had a boost by gear before he bought it but now it just has the Manuel boost controller..

 

Lemme know I am down to go do a quick pull against Civic. I have a GoPro too

We havent. I usually keep low key and race up in portland/seattle and eugene back in the old days.

 

Well we should meet up sometime.. There is a 503motoring show going in the 24th 11-5pm.. I'm thinking about going if I don't have to work.

Ron! 11.28 in your C5 ? Finally hooked? You mentioned them preping the track? Really? PIR? Prepping? No hitting the wall? I get better traction on any street than that pooh hole. Cool!! So,,,, when's this going down? I'm thinking, if they prep it , I can actually run a 12.8 on street tires with stock manifolds !!!
