Its summer time and we didn't get a chance to run with my Vette. Now we can run F-Body to F-body. I am stock bottom end with a cam. Let's do this!

You haven't done test hits? Man when I had my Vette I went through 3 bottles alone just practicing test hits from different rolls/digs and 100 shot up to the 300. You got big enough tires for it too?

 

My car has been on jack stands for 4 months now waiting for my damn rearend..not to happy with that right now..lol....yeah I'm going to be picking up some slicks here pretty quick or at least some M/T DR's..so no I haven't done any test hits but I will once the rearend goes on which should be " hopefully " next week sometime.

 

Lucky man with the rear-end that should be awesome. I am running 275/60/15 MT's daily. Depending on your gearing and what power you will be at something like that should hook darn good for you.

 

Thanks..it will have 4:30 gears and I was thinking of the 315's DRs if they have them..but I do see a lot of people running the 275's and heard they work well.

4.30? Good lord thats steep. Should rip if it hooks though.

 

Lol yeah I thought it would be also but from what mike was saying I should be at around 2100 in 6th doing 70..hell my buddy had 5.72's in his at one time and we where doing 25 in 6th @ like 1800rpms..now that's steep..lol..I'm hoping I can get into the 10's but me being the not so good driver it might not happen.

 

With 28" tires and a 6800rpm redline your top MPH in 4th will be 132. Definitely make sure you dont go smaller.

 

What reared did you order? What are details besides 4.30 gears?

I went with MWC 9" 35 spline, HD center section, Yukon gears, 4ch, chrom moly 3.5 drive shaft rated at 1,000hp, sub frame connectors, and it'll come assembled..also went with the S-trac.

 

Your *** end is sounding really nice!
