I'm looking to put a D1-SC Procharger on my 2002 WS6. I'm curious if anyone has any experience/advice etc with these? I'm only looking to run 8PSI on top of my current 450rwh set up. Motor has about 35k on it. M6. Monster stage 2. My biggest concern is the stock internals. Anything I should upgrade that the package from Procharger already doesn't come with?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If anything possibly look to ditch the 92/92 down the road. Because of the multi layer setup they use they have had issues with them holding together.
I have read of people throwing on different fans with the procharger but not sure if that is something they have fixed.
Motor wise you will be fine, it's all in the tune really. Seen multiple motors pop up in the FI section with 800+ whp on the SBE. Wife's car ran most this last summer with the turbo setup doing low 600's on only 7 pounds of boost and 13 degrees of timing with plenty left in it. At my buddy's shop we were able to get a stock LS1 GTO with a P1 to hit 525 but it was pullied down. Want to say it was doing 12 pounds of boost or so.
Have fuel upgrades already done?

I've had several D1SC's, and currently have one on my Z06.
At 8lbs I'd still upgrade the fuel pump. You could run a boost a pump with your stock unit, but the price will be cheaper just to swap out the pump.
I don't remember if the kits comes with injectors, but that is the only other thing to upgrade. A 48lb injector will be enough with 8lbs, but 60's won't hurt as it would give you more flexibility down the road if you wanted to start leaning on it.
At 8lbs, there is nothing to worry about with the stock internals. Just ease into the tune. Also, pin the crank pulley, they sell kits.
Once you do this, its a very slippery slope my friend. You always want more![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)

Thanks for the advise. The package I'm looking at comes with a new fuel pump so I'm covered there. I will have to upgrade my current 36# injectors. I figured that would probably be the case. I will inquire about pinning the crank pulley. Thx
As far as my FAST 92 goes, it's one of the newer designs and it should hold up just fine being I'm only going to push 8lbs. If not, I've still got my LS6 that came on the car.

Good choice and I am thinking about the same kit in the future. Are you thinking of installing it yourself or have someone like Wong's do it? I am sure it will be a 10 second car after the mods. We still need to meet this summer and talk cars. Mike in Oregon City.

dont do it , add nitrous instead .
i did stuff wrong when upgrading my procharged setup .
Build your own fmic or buy the prochager one
add a second 9" fan to the shroud
get a ls2 waterpump and asterbracket
you will need to pin your crank and get an ati balancer.
Get a 255 fuel pump and go wtih 60 lb injectors .
go with a sd tune , mafless , and get watermeth . and do it all at once. I had mine tune one way , added meth had it tuned , added more boost and went sd and needed another tune .
thats what i can reccomend.

I figured as much. I will use it until it needs to be swapped out.
