Garage 808 5.3/PT88 Build and Pump Results
Hello everyone.

Some might remember my car from last year where I went to a very large and well know NW shop at first tried a stock ls1 and 7475 combo. Bent a rod first dyno pull and then did a junkyard 5.3. Junkyard motor never really had a chance as it had bearing shavings in the oil when we checked. Car had a myriad of issues on top of that anyways.
New set-up: Thompson Motorsports 5.3, 317 heads, Tick Turbo Cam, PTC converter, built 4L60e, twin 255's, ebay 80's, Huron Speed kit, PT88. Stock rails, regulator, lines, LS1 intake, and stock TB.
Car made 662 on 13.5 psi, unlocked converter. No meth. Straight 92 from Safeway. We dialed it back a bit because I want to be able to rail on it whenever. Settled on 640 which is plenty for pump through the auto.
Next up is race gas and then hitting it with a shot from the standalone nitrous setup as well tuning it more in the bottom end on the street. I would recommend Garage 808 in Eugene any day.

Pretty weak numbers. I think you need one of these to really get the most out of it.
