Default Garage 808 pricing

Anyone have a ballpark cost of what it would cost for them to dyno tune the car vs Frost? It would just be a lid, catback, air and egr tune. Nothing crazy.

It's just Frost's pricing is amazing...

Standard HP tuners tune is between 200-300 for minor bolt ons that require basically no full retune. Could always just call the shop too

Default frost tune

FYI had a frost tune (mailorder) it was so far off, it was way lean , George at turbo technology said it was so lean it was going to melt down the engine, very disappointed in their tune, engine also idles like ****, after George was done the car runs sweet. My car is a 02 z28 a4 with a texas speed magic stick 4 a yank 3600 4.10 gears and a 85mm mass air , frost tune 11.99 at 115 after George at turbo technology tuned it 11.66 119 mph , do I need to say more?

He asked specifically about Garage 808, no need to be classless and give another tuners information. Last I checked the Garage 808 F-Bodies were wrecking shop at a lot of the local events.

Nothing like a little shop vs shop drama to liven things up. Let me grab some popcorn.

To the op: you get what you pay for in tunes. A mail order tune will never be as good as a tune done in person. Now, based on ur mods, it may be good enough for now.
Drive ability issues can not always be captured in logs. Also, WOT HAS to be done with a wide band. I don't care if on a Dyno or down the track, you need to log a WB.

Thanks for the input guys. And 808 is the closet tuner to me. I've seen some of their other cars first hand and they run nicely around here.

Frost pricing is amazing but you'd still need to remap VE and MAF. I bought a frost tune for my build lq9 4.030, l92 heads, z06 cam and a bunch of other different parts crammed in there.

Luckily for me, my tune was awesome. A little on the rich side so it was safe. After getting the ecu back it sat around for 4 months and a few things were not enabled or disabled. I bought hptuners and a good wide band. Remapped VE and MAF and was good to go. If I were to do it again id pick a shop and have them do it. Support would be closer.
