Default Spun a bearing

Took it to the dyno today made 3 pulls and i guess the car didnt like the 4th pull with nitrous and i spun bearings 3-4. Yeah pretty pissed about that but I guess theres nothing I can do.

That SUCKS! I'd be pissed too. The bad part about racing....you break ****. It really hurts when it's your daily driver!

What kind of numbers did you get before she went away on ya?

That really sucks man but don't get too bummed out, that **** happens when you play. Look at it as an opportunity to build an LS1 slayer.

Sorry to hear that. But it happens to the best of us. Just time for more mods and upgrades.

Yeah, thanks guys Only problem is its my daily driver and I dont have any more money spent it all on the other setup. So all I am doing now is buying a lt1 shortblock and just transfering all my other things to it and stuffin it back in. The blokc only has 30k miles supposibly for $400. Not too bad, thanks for the grief though, It really hurt...

Unhappy Man that really sucks...

Especially with it being the daily driver. How many miles were on that motor.

I have heard before of people doing heads and cam mods and the bearings going soon after. *knocks on wood* so far mine has held up for about 8,000 miles *knocks on wood*.

Same ? as Mikey what numbers did it put down before it went away?

That sucks man . It's never any fun to suddenly discover that you don't have as much money as you did a minute ago. I keep expecting my LS1 to start making some noises as hard as I run it. I probably should pull it out just to check since I've got so many racing miles on it .... but I won't. I'll just run it until ... KABAMMM ! then I'll fix it

I cant have it down long and I had no place to do it, so I had Blood enterprises do it up for me, they already have it out and are transfering parts as i speak. Hopefully maybe have it tommorrow, more than likely monday. For you interested in numbers, It was a Mustang dyno ro something like that so apparently the numbers that come out of it are lower then teh tradition Dynometer ones, So with that said it dynoed at....306. Not what i was expecting but i guess ill take it to the dynometer next time.

If I remember right Jake also said it peaked at 5,500 or so. way below 6,600 area it redlines at. I would also like to mention it has a stock un-touched intake on it...not even port matched

My Wife and i were very sorry to get that call Jake. Hope things work out for the better

BTW SCREAMING deal on the short block!

Thanks a lot man. If it wasn't for you I really wouldn't have known what to do. Your a really good guy and thanks for your help!

Everyone else, thanks for the moral support, means a lot to me.

400 bux for a 30k shortblock not a "bad" deal eh
