Just remember, junker night wouldbe a bracket race. Not heads up. UNLESS there are no potential "ringers" in a heads up race.

Well, with it being top 10 it's going to be REAL hard to stay on that list... but hey, it's the name of the game, right?

Looks like I will have to have some tranny work this off-season to go along with the clutch and driveshaft so I don't have to lift on my shifts like I have been... just gonna plow through the gears with my right foot mashing the go pedal through the floor.

I'm thinking just being able to powershift and not worry about the drivetrain grenading, along with some 5-6k clutch dump launches should be good enough to push my car into the 11s... we'll see.

brackets are fine by me... that way the auto CR-V stands a chance.

We should have some sort of trophy though... like maybe a toilet seat painted like a checkered flag.

Damn if I can get traction I may be able to break the top 10 hell Eric should do it stock

Junkers beware if I come up its all over. My 89 4x4 Blazer TBI has AT LEAST 130rwhp and only wieghs 5500 you just can't mess with that combination of power and weight. With the 3:23 gearing and the bald *** Mud/Snow tires you stand no chance in hell

dammit I might have to get a shift kit and a confederate flag to fly off the antenna, but you do what you gotta do.

Boyce if its a Chrysler Turbo wagon with wood paneling I'll have to bow down and just be happy with second place

Nope 1988 chevy clebrity station wagon with a 2.8 litre, transversly mounted V6. Comlete with rust, race stickers and a smashed up front end. Air intake is ala Home depot style with a ricer K&N on it. On the wet pavement it will squeel the tires...er I mean tire through 2 gears. Its a real monster.

As soon as can afford a new daily driver the plan is to take the wagon to the track. And then spray it starting off with a 25 shot. all the way till she blows in incraments of 25. 25, 50, 75, 100. I am guessing it lets go by about the 75 shot. dont think the fuel pump could feed it enough.

Oh yeah dude confederate flag will trump Japanese writing ANY day. Ever seen Dukes of Hazard???????????

Junkers are so much fun some of my favorite cars have been junkers. I had a 76 Green Volare with a hole in the floor someone converted to a 3 speed manual. The gas gauge didn't work and I was poor so the homies and I pushed that car down the street for some gas paid for with nickels and pennies. It had those Silver box pioneer speakers too. Those were the days

You HAVE to annouce when you do that I want to see what happens when you do the 75 shot. I bet it runs pretty good if you can get traction at all

boyce i have always wanted to do that to a car, mybee the mazda truck, or maybee the bug, but i think the bug will handle some spray it has factory rods and pistons, and the blown rings should alow for enough pressure bleed off that i could spray 200 to it and it wouldnt even flich

You ARE a glutton for punishment aren't you ?? There's a few of us that would make for some good grudge matches that's for sure These types of races are alot of fun.

I hate to say it, but being the top dog usually takes money. Lord knows I will NEVER NEVER NEVER go as fast as Todd Carpenter down 318. WHY?! Becuase I will probably NEVER have $200,000.00 to throw into a car.

Maybe its time to get out and make another run then. Last time i was out was 01 or 02.

And just to make sure everyone skivveys arent in a bunch here is what the Top 10 list would look like if the rules were in effect NOW. And even then there are a couple "questionables" on this list. I think all but 2 of these are current (within the last season). So beging next season the door is open to ANYONE. Any of the cars here are capable of a 12.6 pass. And the way you guys have been modding the **** out of your cars...............

1. sardog46 11.56 @122 (1.56) '02 WS6 M6
2. silverbullet02 11.94 @114.8 (1.70) '02 TA M6
3. Rockin C Racing 12.03 @113 (1.72) '95 Z28

Ya Boyce, I saw your post right after I posted mine <guess that's what I get for taking 15 minutes to compile my thoughts>. I was at work and trying to scarf down my lunch so I didn't have time to edit my post afterward haha....

Overall it sounds like a decent plan.
