Waterpump Bling update Well I dialed the phone to order a Polished waterpump only to get a busy signal. Then my day got started and I never got around to placing the order. Got home that night, Melanie was paying bills and asked me who is Scoggin Dickie, MTI, SLP, Thunder Racing, Eastwood? 
So I decided I'd try Scott's advice and just paint it. I used a cast aluminum finish and it turned out pretty well.

I believe when I finish all my winter projects my engine compartment and undercarriage will have taken a big step forward and I'am already planning for next year.
I do want to take another polishing lesson. I worked on the valve covers for ever and still never got them right. And thanks again for all the pointers the little things like painting the hose brackets, planning what parts to make stand out and what parts to hide make a big difference.
