Cam Swap a Gooooooooooooooo!!!!!
#41
Do you guys want me to bring my air compressor & tools over tomorrow? It makes quick work out of the springs swap. I should copy my tranny shift files onto my jump drive for you too Doug. Then we can compare them to your settings. Do you have a USB port on your laptop Rick? Or a 3 1/2" floppy?

Sounds good Mark. It probably would go alot quicker with the air compressor if you don't mind lugging it over here. Let me know what time you guy's want to get started so I can have some donuts and coffee ready for you.

I went through 2 tanks of gas in 4 days. Time for an oil change this week too. I'll leave the house around 10am. I'll also bring my air tools and sockets etc.......
Need anything else? Measuring equipment? Dial indicators, Mics, Calipers etc.....?

Yeah, sorry to hear about the dog Rick! That's like taking an unexpected kick to the gut.....my hot tub is broken if it makes you feel better. And my back is broken too!
And I don't think we'll need any measuring tools. Never have before. Would if we changed valves maybe. I just loaded my tune onto a floppy.
So you should get there around 10:30-11?

Yeah, that should put me there a bit after 10:30.
All we've ever needed before was a bigger fuggin hammer!
Yeah, it was a punch in the gut. Had her for 12 of her 15 years. Great pooch she was. Now all I have is the Samoyed dummy who would gladly show the robbers my good stash areas. Heart as big as the outdoors and a brain the exact opposite. Might be time for a puppy this summer.

I certainly missed your post Mike. Like Ellis said, it's in Monroe. Rick & I will get there a little after 10:30 tomorrow. The address for Dougs is on the 1st page I believe. We always want to meet other gearheads even if you do know Ellis!

Sorry Mark, I was pretty tired after dinner so we bagged it for the night. I will be putting the rest back together sometime today. Either this morning or after I meet you guys for lunch. You pretty much know where we left off cause we didn't do any more after you left. As for everyone else, We got everything put back together except the radiator, condensor, and getting all the hoses hooked up and putting fluids in. Fortunately when we went to put the rocker arms on Mark saw that we had neglected to put the cam retaining plate on. This could have been one hell of an expensive mistake. So thank you Mark for catching that. Hopefully I will have my baby fired up by this afternoon, I will let you all know!!!
