Default Early Christmas Present!

The big brown truck was nice enough to leave this on my doorstep Friday afternoon:

It's my new McLeod Single disc Kevlar/Organic clutch with adjustable master cylinder and a shiny new flywheel.

Next I got the Denny's Nitrous Ready driveshaft, some 4.30 gears, a new panhard rod, rear sway bar, and skinnies for the track... I'll have all that in place before we start racing again. And if there's enough money, maybe by this summer I'll be running a wee bit o' giggle juice too.

Cool man, let me know how you like it. I'll be in the market for a new clutch come tax return time.

No reason to get used to that View Mark I have plans for you

Nice parts there! I will be interested to see how that clutch performs for you. It will be a little easier on it with those 4.30s

I agonized over what clutch to get for a long time... finally settled on the one that seemed to have the least amount of complaints. It came down to this one and a RAM Powergrip, but I went with the one that overall had the best price (Tom Byrne had a smokin' GP price on these packages), and would not only hold at the track but have good liveability on the street. We'll see if it turns out to be the right choice...

Damn Jay you are crazy I THOUGHT I WAS BAD!!!! You aren't playing around anymore I hope the LS1 single disc is better than the LT1 single, what made you decide to go with it over the RAM?

PLEASE give an update after its installed and broken in, I'm sure with my sorry can't drive a damn car *** I'll need a clutch soon myself. I've been leaning towards a Luk Pro or Exedy single.
