Default Am I nutz?

Ok I was in a good mood today because tomorrow is my birthday. So I was bouncing around work ( I work in a strict Cathlic (sp) hospital) everyone knew it was my birthday tomorrow & kept asking me what I wanted for my birthday. I kept saying " For my car to be out of the shop & fixed" & I kept getting looks. My car went in to the shop on the 9th of this month to get some computer work done on it & its still not done. (of course today when I called them they were almost done & had it back on the dyno)

I mean they think I am totally nuts & should be locked up in One south (our nutz ward) because I am a coming 31yr old Woman who happens to enjoy cars, Of course then they hear I dragrace & then they know I should be locked up. Even the car guys that work there dont think that me being a woman should be happy being involved with cars.

So Am I NUTZ or what?

OK Ellis dont answer that one ok? Because I know what you are going to say.

Those that know me know that I love my Camaro & of course deal with my husbands when I have to lol.

Damn, you talk about your sisters like this? I would hate to see how you talk about people you aren't related to that you don't like.

If it makes ya happy and doesn't hurt anyone else , do it! Be it dragracing or any other hobby. And no , you're not crazy , you just have an acute case of "gofastitis". It's incurable but with high doses of HP , it can be treated and allow you to live somewhat of a normal life.

My mother & my older sister were known as the "town Pumps" & were listed on every public bath room wall in town.

Well It is like crack or any other drug. You can stop the treatments but the drive/addiction still stays..

Call me biased but I think it's fuggin great that you are into cars & race. My mom drag raced her 69 Road Runner back in the 70s. E/Stock, 383 4 sp, drag raidals, open headers, was chums with Shirley Muldowny, etc etc. And now my wife is getting the addiction too. Personally I love women that drive hot rods! Even better if they work on the car too. I think it's sexy.

PS And mom's sister is a Roman Catholic Nun if that helps....

Yea tell me about it. It went from costing me $800-1000 to $2000 for the computer work & now a few KKKKKK for engine work. I am not happy.

Well the car only had 138k miles on it & it still ran 14.7s -14.8s down the track.

So I think we are going to go pick it up today (on a truck & trailer) & pray that someone could help us to do the work on the car.

Thanks Ellis I might take you up on that offer. If it wasnt for the computer work on the 87 I would have never taken it up to them.

Well its NOT Bloods fault. After seeing the HB I can say one thing the bearings could of spun any time. Hell the car was giving off 201HP at the rear wheels at the time it went.
282.2 TQ as well.

Hey Ellis how much for the crank shaft & rods?
