Another car is alive
Still waiting for my T.B & MAF ends to show up from Jantzer, but Rick saved the day and brought his down and so we could fire her up. Thanks again Rick.
We got to get the tune installed and have the I-Pipe hooked up and it'll be ready to
I've read it several times on this board before but the Mark went above and beyond to walk me though this project. Headers, Cam, Springs, Intake, Throttle Body.
Thanks again Mark
It was nice beyond words to hear it fire up today! After it being torn apart for this long, and doing that much to it at once, I think we got lucky pard. I was amazed how well it runs. Must be that Bauer TB you got from Boyce.
A side note to all you tuner cats - when I hooked up the HP Tuner to Steve's car, I got a no derial data error. Same thing when I connceted my Predator. So I read the data pin with my meter & got .3V....should be 3.5V according to HPT guys. Anyway, after checking fuses etc we started the car & tried running the "dashboard" on HPT & it displayed real time data, so I tried reading his PCM again & viola it worked. My message, if it don't work keep messing with it.
Anyway, congrats on having it back amongst the living Seve!!! Can't wait to see you out driving it again. Now back to work on your tune....
I am seting your rev limiter (fuel shut-off) at 6400rpm. I'd set it higher but with stock rocker arms I figure that's hi enough. Yes? (stock was 6200) That should allow you to shift at 62-6300 to get some of that extra power you now have. Let me know if you want it higher. The tune is almost finished.....
Mark
PS And I WILL remember that Bobby.
