I notice 3 main differences between yours & mine.
1) Mine has a BIG dip in spark around 4k & then goes back up, Yours stays pretty flat.
2) Mine has aother dip in timing for idle @ 800rpms.
3) My VE table has a flat red area at hi RPM & MAP, where yours falls off around 5200.
Not sure how much is due to your heads. Mine are stock. But my cam is similar to yours when you add in my rockers. (220/230 112LSA .555/.555) On the dyno my car increased hp up to ~ 6000rpm & stayed pretty flat to 6400 (peaked at 6200). My tq was pretty flat - hit 350 at 3500, peaked at 371 at 4750 & slowly dropped to 350 at 5700 & fell to 320 at 6400. The a/f was solid 12.8-13 across the band.
I need to figure out which g/cyl my car was running @ WOT. I'd like to map that & timing against my dyno charts.
Make that 4 differences. My VE table is a LOT leaner than yours down in the 400-1200rpm range to get my cam to idle.

Mine idles OK because of the wider LSA. I had a HotCam in my Z28 and when it did idle it sounded awesome, but it really wanted to fall on its face all of the time.
Again, the LS1 has a lot of fuel up top and the LS6 has it running leaner. I figure it's not gonna matter too much on WOT with the MAF in place. There's no way the motor is that efficient up high anyway so I'm leaving it. Besides, if I get it running too rich it's a disaster because that unburned fuel is likely to detonate unless I pull timing. These co-chambers in the heads are really small, so I can't get away with too much. The tune's gotta be just right.
Thanks for the comparison.

Thank you for posting this stuff. I'm still on the sharp part of the learning curve about tuning PCM cars. Interesting the LS6 is that much different. It's basically just dif heads & intake.
Make a note Mark for when you change your heads.....
My Hot Cam idles pretty dang good now. Doesn't burn your eyes. No searching for idle. Doesn't die after you rev it. Sounds mean as Hell, which is half what I was after. But I noticed with the stock tune, a 224 idles just about as bad as a Hot Cam. I haven't seen Dougs car since he got his tune in. Should be interesting to compare now.

I'm not sure if you just complimented or insulted me? Yeah, the tune that is on there is what I got via the Predator for the Hot Cam. Which is why I bought HP Tuner. It didn't idle of shift worth a $hit! Funny my new ones aren't approved yet.....
