Default Back at polishing again...same old same old...

My annual winter polishing project with pics...Don't be too bored with them, lol.

I was disapointed with the "polished look of the catch can" and re polished it...

Before...It was a pain to polish because it had a coating on it...

After...

Re-polished the Tensioner...

Re-polished the TB...

Re-polished the MAF Ends...

Re-polished the AC canister...

OK, OK, I'm working on it! I've got the fuel rail and rocker covers off now. Guess I need to keep pulling things off. Do you clear spray after polishing? If so, what kind? Jay

No clear spraying on aluminium, metal yes. The TB has not been touched for 2 years and really look pretty good.

Thanks guys for your support. It has been a while since I completed the rear end and I am glad to be back at it again.

Bill, I have a compound that take bugs right off.

Ellis, man I have my wife to keep me in line, lol.

Bobby, after seeing Erics car you have the dream car to polish...the unfercarriage alone..

Eric, I need that powder coating kit you have.

Mark, Jay, Steve, and Rick thanks!

I am pretty happy, I also got my roll bar swing outs re-powdercoated. I am sending out a few parts to have them CF coated to finish up a few areas, also going to sand my cailpers smooth and re-paint them. Marks calipers look way better than mine and I can't have that, lol.

Good to know, much easier than doing it yourself. I wonder if they all do?

It is something new, they never had them before. I have been to many other stores and they do not have them.

I still would buy the stainless and polish them (I actually did). Chrome will rust down the road. I thought .37 cents for stainless was pricy in the same size bolt, in chrome is $2.50
