I'm not sure yet when I'll be picking the car up... I'll probably be able to get a ride up there to pick it up sometime between 1 and 2, I'm thinking. I'm trying to get up there as early as I can in the afternoon so I can miss the crappy traffic heading back down south.
Traffic is screwed from noon on going back into town. you might as well plan on hanging around up north unless you want to sit in the sea of brake lights for hours. or get up there around 10am.

No, had no problem with the cam install. I screwed up two of the bolts when I installed my headers. With the cam install I was just missing a few parts. My cam retaining plate and my Moble 1 oil cap. The car seemed to run much better when the latter was re-installed. the hell with the cam retaining plate.

Well, I don't plan on going back through on I-5, that's for sure... I try to avoid going through Seattle, even on the weekends. Usually 405 doesn't start getting bad until after 3, so I'm going to try to make that.

Yep, damn cam retainer plate... to think, someone could have taken that and you wouldn't have noticed, but man that Mobil 1 cap...

Mark, I bought my gauge pod and gauges at Summit. I priced every freaking vendor on here and they beat them all by over $75 for my set up plus I got it two days later. They do way more volume so are likely to have what you want right now and its cheaper.

I still have to laugh just a bit to hear you guys complain about the traffic up there.........the 405 down here (thru L.A.) is one of THE worst freeways ever........It usually isn't "clear" (safe to do 65) until after 10 pm and then by 430 am or so, it slows back down. Weekends or weekdays...........I SO cannot wait to be up there in your traffic.

We now take you back to your regularly scheduled thread topic.

Our traffic doesn't last as long, but it gets just as bad as LA. I go to the LA area pretty regularly... and it's not much better here... it's just shorter. At least in LA you have side streets with 5 lanes and 50 mph speed limits to get you around it, and 50 bazillion freeways to choose from.

I went & looked on Summit. They appear to have all the Z Series meters in stock (says they will ship today). Prices are comparable to Toms GP prices. I asked Carol @ Tbyrne if she can gurantee me that I'll get them in February. If not, I'll cancel & call Summit. Thanks again Eric....
