Default Add a Goat to the herd!

Well, we did it. I felt it was hard to pass up. $27,400 with the 05 hood & they will seel me the dual exh at cost (which porbably still won't be a bargain). So it's here in the driveway. And the TA is now ALL MINE!

The mgr told me if any of you want one, they will make you as close to the same deal as they can. The yellow one would have sot us 28 without the hood because Foot Hills wouldn't deal with them. But they said they ahve other dealers that WILL deal with them. Call Bill Moore @ 360-659-0886 and mention Mark sent you if you want to see what you can get.

PS THE WIFE LOVES THE CAR! And I agree. It isn't as fast as the TA, but it corners like a *****! Very nice seats too....

Nice choice!! I love the interiors on the GTO's. Maybe they'll set the bar for GM to emulate in the future.

PICS,,,, PICS,,,,,PICS.....

I must admit that the black one with red interior I sat in, started, and revved for about 2 minutes today got me to thinking. It's a good thing it didn't have a 6 speed It was weird, not a single salesperson was anywhere in site and I'm out there in their parking lot revving the crap out of the car I couldn't believe they were unlocked, keys laying in the seat just begging me to dare .... so I did. Linda's pretty lucky Mark. I bet she's glowing right now huh ?! I really like certain aspects of the interior. I didn't really like the gauge cluster, but everything else looked great !

Thanks Todd. These cars are a lot nicer than I thought. Glad I waited long enough to get a deal on one. I thought sure we'd end up with the black one with red interior that Bill was revving. But for some reason that interior just didn't do anything for me. We did like the yellow one tho. Damn flashy color! But this silver with all the accents looks pretty good too. May need the pinstripe mod Todd suggested. and red calipers!

As for a 6 sp Eric, NO! I break too many parts that way....I NEVER lift when I shift.

Seriously, your car looks awesome. The pics do not do it justice. The seats are very comfortable, the tires fit nicely into the wheel wells, I am impressed.

BTW Mark let me "drift" the car on to I-5...

Glad to hear that you bought the car and got a good deal too! I like the more upright seating position. Don't forget to check that telescoping steering column! I love that feature and it always annoyed me that my 85 Vette had it, but my 2002 Trans Am didn't. It's a shame it took until 2004 to trickle down!

Enjoy that car!

Telescoping steering wheel? Haven't discovered that feature yet Cory. I was happy to find the button that lets the seat release so you can get into the back seat!

And now the first mod-decision.....HP Tuner, or Predator? It will cost me about the same to add the GTO to HPT as it will to change the Predator over to it. HPT allows me to do a lot more, but the Predator would give it a pre-packaged perf tune....as in no work for me. Also I read several posts on HPTs website where people are having troubles tuning the 04 GTOs. I know Ellis said the LS2/7 code hasn't been cracked yet, but this is an LS1, so I'm puzzled.

Actually, I guess the first decision was take the $ or get the hood with scoops.

The telescoping control is the same as the steering tilt control. Disengage it so you can tilt and then just pull or push the wheel the to where it feels comfortable. I wish it would come back toward the driver about another 1/2 an inch but I'm just a tall bastard- GM can never completely satisfy me.

WOW! that is nice. I might have to go and check one of those out today at lunch. Not like I could afford it, but hey, I am there is one on a lot somewhere that needs to be "driven".

I would kill for one of these cars. Its another one of those big bang for the buck deals right now. Good handling, nice interior and good price.

GREAT PURCHASE!
