I'll be trying to bring the big red truck to see where it stands right now. Maybe they'll let me run in the rain. Won't make much difference in my case- the AWD and 6400+ lbs means little to no tire spin rain or shine

Next time I'll take the GTO.

Only 6400 and no spin? My truck is almost 7200 and I got mine to spin...

Cool, I'll be off tomorrow so I don't see why I couldn't make it... hopefully Sardog will stop on by today, that way we can caravan down from O.H.

All Wheel Drive... it takes a lot of power to break them loose before it can pull away.

Even so, you still got about 100 lb ft of tq on me at the rear.

What rear gears did you option in that truck? What tires are you running? I've got 4.10's and 34.5" tall tires.

3.73 with 305/55/20s... about 33.5"s, so you still have the better gearing then me.

If you bring your truck, be prepared. There's a girl down there running hi 12s / low 13s in her full sized Dodge diesel. And I may bring my goat tomorrow to see what it turns stock....with 300 miles on the clock. I'm guessing mid 13s. In transists & a helmet.....don't see that every day!

What time are you guys leaving from Whidbey?

Yea, I doubt I'm gonna be there... I've only got one lil mod done to my truck, so I'm not there, I'm only runnin a lil over 7 0-60 stopwatched.

I've never been down there so I don't know where it is... I also don't know a damn person on here so I'd feel a lil odd just pulling up to Azteca. lol So if Sardog (Jason if I figure correctly) shows up, hopefully I can get in contact with him and get the deal rolling, but from what he said before, about 5-530.

It looks like I'm going to make this one after all. I'd like to know what time everybody up this way is leaving, maybe we could meet up ?? I didn't think I would be ready in time, the cars unwashed, wires still need to be zip tied, and I'll have another 1/2 hr of prep after I get down there, but I'm looking forward to having some fun tomorrow

Sweet! Can't wait to see how the '71 does with the new mods...

Of course, I'll have to look in the rearview mirror pretty closely to get a GOOD look...

Seeing the post of a Cobra reminds me of the Mustang Saleen I saw at the local dealership today... jumped a curve to get into the lot to check it out when I saw the price: 20K. Turns out it was an 03 GT with full Saleen body kit and graphics... lol
