Default LSX Install Party

Alright fellas... I was gonna get going on the install today, but after drinking about oh, a gallon of guinness last night, I think I'm gonna take it easy today.

Looks like I'll be doing the install next Saturday (the 5th), so if anyone wants to come down, BS about cars, laugh at the bloody knuckles, and/or drink all my beer, pop, and eat my food... well by all means you're welcome to.

I'll also be installing my bigger rear sway bar as well...

I'll probably get started around 10am, and I figure I'll take a drive afterwards... maybe go out for a beer & dinner @ Hooters, or to Clearview, or to anywhere else you guys want to go to.

Let me know if you need the address and/or directions...

I'll see if I can make it Jason. I have a lot going on right now, what with trying to get my son's car ready to sell & installing my gauges & working OT. But if I can, I will.

Throw them gauges in the car and come on down... we'll wire those suckers up in your car the same day!

If you can't make it, I understand... everybody's got a lot going on since we're all trying to get stuff ready for the upcoming race/show season.

T&T on Saturday this weekend? Crap, I wanted to hit the track on Sunday after doing the install... Oh well, guess that'll have to wait until the weekend after...

Zeke, you are more than welcome to come on over... I know you've been to my place before, but if you need the address again, let me know.

I know I'll need directions. Head south till you see the dead cow in the field, turn left & go up the hill to the old tree stump, turn left again & go 1 mile to the white picket fence.....oh wait, that's the directions to Eric's house.

Yhea sat this week, not sunday. Why dont you hold off till sun and come racing. Sunday is bracket racing with no points. Sat is the last t&t till apr 22.

Well, I've told myself I'll only race one more time just to see if my times change any with the LSX and the bigger rear sway bar, and then I'm shelving the car until I can replace the clutch. I'll probably buy a new clutch around the middle-to-late March time frame... so that'll put me on pace for the April TnTs to start racing again.

So I might hit up one of the bracket races in the next week or two to get a gauge on what the LSX and sway bar did... even though I suck at bracket racing.

Hey now... I live in the south end. That means head south until you see the 5 liquor stores and pawn shops all in a row, then turn right at the pimp in the zebra hat, go up the hill past the ricers with the "Wiggy Fly Conceptz" sticker on the rear window, 1 mile to the boarded up graffiti-covered convenience store.

I'm pretty sure I remember how to get there but a refresher course couldn't hurt.

I am wanting to change my car to a LS6 intake, so it will be a good learning experience.

And in my neck of the woods, it's more like take I-90 east and get off on the exit for 422379th Street, go past the clear cut area, and then turn on Forest Service Road 2732, go 2.8 miles, past all the blowdowns (watch out for bears, elk, deer, and falling rocks/tree branches), through the washout, and then go through the hidden road through the trees, past the outhouse, and my house is behind the moss covered shed.

As of the first of the year, all the major online map sites have finally added my address, so now the online directions will actually work! Before this year, none of them would recognize my address... so now you don't have to follow my "turn right at the pimp" directions.

What is the altitude of y'alls tracks? I cannot wait to get away from the closest one to me, which is at 2900'.

And it looks like I may be working OT Saturday. If not, I'll probably come down & work on my gauges in the driveway while I listen to you guys blood-curdling screams from wedging your hands into places they should not go.....on the car Rick!!!

You mean, I will get time slips that actually show my time & speed correctly? I won't have to bust out my calculator to figure out how fast I actually ran?

If ya can't tell, that excites me GREATLY!!!!

And thanks for the info too.
