Wow, sweet.

Finally out of the 14's.

You picked up quite a few MPH too. Good work ... and you can still bring down those 60' for better times. Traction, anyone?

lol yeah I'm excited I'm happy with it... first run of the day was a 13.80, next was a 13.68, then the 13.45 finished with a 13.9 (2.4 60' lol)

Only thing that's different on the car since the last time was I replaced the trans mount and power shifted this time

Today was my first time down the drag...and it showed!

First run I had no idea how easy it would be to spin the wheels in this car. I always leave TC on when driving on the streets so I had never experienced the full force of a 1st gear drop & stomp. Needless to say I spun all the way through both first and second gear. I also was not really ready for the light so my RT was pathetic.

Second run I cleaned my tires with a short burn(now that I knew how easy it was to break them loose). I then concentrated on just getting a clean run, nothing fancy. It turned out OK, but not anything great. I plan on working on my launches and shifts until I take another second or so off the time.

Run # - 1 2 GOAL
RT - .684 .461 .200
60' - 2.828 2.383 2.000
1/8 - 11.218 9.873 9.000
MPH - 66.91 76.58 80.00
1/4 - 16.812 14.899 14.000
MPH - 90.54 97.75 100.00

Clearly, I have a lot to learn.

Well it wasn't as good as 2 weeks ago, but did run an 11.13@126.4 with a 1.47 60ft.............................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................N/A Didn't get to spray b/c of the suspension is now all bent to ****, guess thats what happens when you pull both whels 2 feet in the air

I also on the last run missed the wall by about 2 inches, made the last nitrous run look stait as an arrow.

Rookie could you send me or post the two vids that your dad took? one should be a whhels up vid.

Nice runs, both of you!

So you tweaked the suspension that bad, Jason? Man... and here I am trying to get enough weight transfer to yank the front wheels off the ground.

LOL yeah track conditions were a lot better too and I think power shifting this time helped too since last time I was babying it with the old trans mount.

Oh and I'm rendering jason's vid right now... 3 runs one vid... only have the time for the second and third though (dad didn't know to zoom in on the times)

just wish he had the run that made me hang it up for the day, back end kick out so hard fraser said it looked like it hit he wall, the anouncer was going nuts from what i'm told. The only way i'll lift is if i see wall out the windsheild

After some inspection today looks like i bent my driver side lower control arm, and tweaked the tourqe arm a little. Oh well looks like its time for a backhalf and a four link

3 VERY nice runs Jason! Against some very quick cars too. You are my new hero.

Your *** end kicked to the right pretty good in run #3 after the tire lifted. that was your best launch (tho your best R/T was run #2...that guy is NOT easy to hole shot!!!) But that might be where the bending started. What brand / type are you using?
