The practice tree is a lot like this one.
Practice Tree
You hold a little handle with a button on it and when your light gets to the last/bottom green light you hit the button. Just like Drag Racing, but you don't step on the gas pedal. Otherwise you'll redlight! Great for practicing your reaction times! It tells you your times and who won...it's pretty fun to play to see who can get closest without getting a redlight.

I think we shall pitch in and buy the practice tree for Mark...
I swear the last time we raced and he got the red light, and I'm thinking "Damn dude... race hasn't even started yet, get back here!"

We don't need to buy one, We have one here! Mark can just come over and play with ours! The Practice tree really does help when you've been out of racing for the past few months/years...

The last (and only) time I went racing, I was so friggin thrilled just to be there and was with another buddy who had also never raced that I totally forgot everything about leaving on th last yellow, revving up the car (although prolly good since I just have the 10 bolt) and all that nonsense & was also on crappy hard compound street tires (tread wear rating was 340 I believe)........IIRC, my BEST 60' was like 2.02 or something ridiculously slow like that....... <sigh>
I have a feeling I will be camped out in front of that practice tree till I get a 12 bolt.

The practice trees rock! Amy got me one for Christmas this year, been a lot of fun playing with and racing against her. Though we normally ran the Pro Tree which is hella harder to pull a good light on compared to Sportsman.

Steph,
I talked to Bill Sallia....here's his response:
Mark
I would love too stay with the club Sign me up. I'll try to make it out to Monroe on some of the Saturdays. I hope to have my Camaro running next week. It will be a low 13's Sportsman car and I will have my Vette running 11's buy May.
Bill Sallia
So add him to the list too.

Correct 60' was 2.284 I am "teh suxor" as the kids like to say.
Oh well, just gives me an excuse to blow close to 3 grand on a 12 bolt, wheels and drag radials.

Sorry for the mix up guys. I havn't sent out an e-mail to everyone yet. There is already an e-mail list with a bunch of members from the past few years, but there are a bunch of members signed up and not that many responses to the recent happenings. People come and go I guess. Thats what I was talking about with the e-mail. If you guys want to join that list go to TeamNW E-mail list That will be our main E-mail list for now. As soon as you sign up I will approve you
Hope that clears up any mix-ups
