Default Jegs SUCKS!

I don't know if it's just me, but every time I order something from them, they screw the order up. Here I am doing my brakes on the Dakota, and I open up the box to take my rotors out, adn guess what? They only sent me one! What ******* pimple headed nitwit would do that? I pulled my order up, and I CLEARLY ordered 2, 1 for each side even. Mother-*******!!!

I'm only upset because I just got back form going to Olympic Brake to pick up some calipers....the cups were frozen in the old ones. And I'm quite sure that's the only place around that would have had a rotor in stock today. And they're closed now!!!

Actually I've had good luck with Jeg's over the years, but I know what you mean. I think its Murphy's Law that when you need a car part its ALWAYS a Sunday evening or a holiday of some kind...

That sucks! I've been pretty lucky with my car stuff that I've ordered, but have had plenty of screwed up orders for other things from other companies...

And of course you only need something when no one on earth has what you need at that moment, or is open to sell it to you.

Well, I have myself to blame. I should look at stuff closer. I need to pull EVERYTHING out & count to make sure it's all there & in good condition. I thought after the SLP radiator fiasco that I learned. Obviously not.

Sorry to hear about the fiasco Mark. We all tend to trust that we were shipped what we ordered, but very often mistakes are made. ALWAYS open boxes immediately to verify contents. You just never know. So now you have to keep driving the T/A in our shitty weather for a little while longer ?

Yep, gotta drive the TA to work in the rain now. It's going to take me a month to get it ready for any show now. Provided I don't get any door dings in the Boeing parking lot. FRACK!!!

I agree with that one. Its also nice when we head down to Reno for HAN that we stop in to the store there (they are like 10mins away from down town Reno) & get hats & clothes & even parts. Not only that they offer something like 10-20% off of almost everything.
Great time to go down order stuff then have it shipped to your house. its home by the time you get there.

Are there enough people still working at Boeing to really worry about this?

Yes, and that is the problem. They just hired 10,000 people so there is no parking. People actually run into each other trying to get into the parking place first. And if you park on an end to be safe, some bozo will wedge his way next to you (illeagally in the fire lane or on the grass).

10,000 People that is amazing. Our little company just went from 200 to 600 employees; doing all the paper work for the new hires was a nightmare, hell I even e-mailed you in error the other day asking you why you have not turned in your paperwork.

Let me re-iterate.....JEGS SUCKS!!!! (I just got this reply from them)

Sorry for any inconvenience. We are out of stock on the part 915-AR-8738L. We are not expecting this to arrive to us for about 3 weeks. You should have been notified. We will ship as soon as the part arrives. If you have any further questions please call our 24 hour customer service line at 1-800-345-4545 ext 456.

Thank you,

Of course my truck is torn apart waiting for that rotor. Did I say DIRTY MOTHER ******* yet? They are lucky they aren't anywhere close! I'd take a day off & drive over there.

Oh, and to add insult to injury here, the hood for the GTO is in. If only the truck was running we could take it in.

And to think I quit using Summit because they would charge me and NEVER send the parts or just charge me twice for each part

Yeah, I'm sure with all the people that buy parts, EVERY vendor has an issue like this come up from time to time. It's just the way it palyed out that made it so irritating. The good news is I found another source....might be here by Friday.
