We don't put anything in our cars but Chevron or Shell and then it's Premium only. So right now it's really hard to even go up the driveway without costing an arm and a leg.

Give us time... if the actual gasoline prices don't get us there, the extra several cents or so that the government wants to tack on to our gasoline tax will.

Funny how the increase in the gas tax was voted down, yet the government just spent quite a bit of our own tax dollars to find a way around it and inact a gas tax increase anyhow.

Our Govt. doesn't care what we think they just do it anyway. A good example is Safeco Field, we voted no to build it and look where it stands now! I'm guessing that it will be close to $3 for Premium by this summer and there's nothing at all that we can do about it.

Let's see, if someone on the street asks me for money, and I tell them no, then they go and take the money out of my wallet anyway, it's called stealing.

But when our elected government officials do it, it's called "necessary taxation".

Olympia needs to know how to do what we all do... balance our checkbook with what we have. It's not like I have the luxury of saying "Well, I'm not quite making ends meet due to my own mismanagment of funds, so I'm going to tell my boss that I'm giving myself a 30% raise."
