That's right, it is a shape... too bad its a shape that doesn't lend itself to fast ETs.

If I were Doug's size, the damn car would be in the 11s already. Hmmm... maybe I'll stop eating now, and fast all the way until raceday. Maybe if I don't faint from hunger, the car will be faster...

If I had an extra $750, I'd be in the 11s without having to starve myself this week.

If you want, you can use my skinnies for a run on Saturday to see what you gain... that is, if I don't drive to there on the skinnies to begin with. My plan is to just change all four there at the track... glad I got my impact!

I'm probably going to end up wrenching on the Formula instead of racing... I would rather be racing, but I have too little time left to get everything back together.

Actually I had better plans for you Zeke. I'm not telling here because I hate to see a grown man cry. If you can get it running by Sat morning then shoot me a PM - you won't be dissapointed

Unless Jesus himself comes to my house and miracles the car together on Friday, that's probably not going to happen. I still don't have the parts I need to put it together, and I wouldn't be racing it anyway because I can't risk breaking anything.

It has nothing to do with racing.
In fact, it won't be moving at all....once you got there anyway. Your car is prime for this, I was hoping you would have it running enough to drive to PT.

Thanks for the offer but I think we are just going to stay at the track, just a pain in the *** unloading, loading, unloading.

Hey No problem the offer is still there if is raining or shitty weather. Only 15 minutes from the track!

How late do you all expect to be at the track?
I'll be in Port Townsend in the morning, not sure how long it will take but it would be fun to swing by and check out some of the time slips.

I'll most likely be there some point Friday to practice my R/T's. Gonna be a little different this weekend, T/A will be down cause I gotta send my flywheel and pressure plate back to Ram, then put new clutch disc in when those get back, also doing 9".(btw, I'd wait till after this weekend to start the project, but since the clutch is slipping and got the stock rear, don't really wanna run it anyway.) Sooo...I'll be there in my turbo inline-6 vehicle . Hopefully I can get traction and be consistent. See y'all there!

Cool... if you can, get a space that's down along one of the paved parts. I'll need the solid ground for jacking the car up and changing wheels.

I'll look for you all most likely around 3ish.
*Someone* needs to take the pictures - I'll have the camcorder with me though you might have had your best runs by the time I show up.
