I'll be there on the 7th for the CCC opener... we'll see if I can be different than normal and actually survive past the 1st round.

When did that rule come on the CCC? The way things are going now days its not unheard of to see high 9 second street cars. Was there any reasoning behind this rule or has it been in place for a while now?

Because technically speaking, CCC is for street cars... aren't many street cars running around in the 9s. There are a few, but the vast majority are not street legal. Also, your tires need to be DOT approved. So ET Streets & Hoosier QTPs are about as wild as you can get on the tire... most 9 second cars are running the big ET Drags and such.

The reason the CCC was set up was for people who want to run brackets and not have to worry about competing against a Pro Comp car & driver. Of course, the drivers still compete under the NWMCA name just so they can add more trophies to the collection... Those guys kind of miss the point of the CCC by having dozens of drivers who "double dip" in the different competitions, but whatever.

Yes, Bremerton. Gates open at 8:00. Most likely we northerners will need to leave (my house anyway) by 6 if we are driving around.

And I'm not sure when the 10 rule came into play, but since the roll bar req is still at 11.99, I'd say it was a couple years ago anyway.

Ain't that the damn truth...

That's ok... I can eat a donut, then remove something like the rear seats to make up for it.

I'll be there on the 7th, hopefully I can get a few runs in before it starts. Haven't been able to run yet with the nitto's and stall converter.

Probely at the track. They let people camp there overnight for the weekend gigs.

Thanks for the offer but I think we are just going to stay at the track, just a pain in the *** unloading, loading, unloading.

Sounds good buddy. There are stakes & ties in the bag if you want to leave the canopy up over night as a poor mans tent.

And that means I can take the ferry over since you will already be there, & Bill has to work.

That's ok... Jason and I were both commenting on how we need to lose weight that last time we were all at Hooters, just as we were downing a plate of wings and washing it down with beer.
