Hey everyone!

I just wanted to share some great news I got today.
I got promoted to an apprentice Millwright position @ work last week. I went in to fill out some paperwork today, and I am getting a raise of over $5/hr.! I am really excited, but it's almost too good to believe.
Guess I'll be working on my GTO.

It looks like a pair of Koni adjustables for the rear will be the first thing I try.
Lots of stuff to save up for, after I get credit card bills caught up, that alone will free up 600/mo. Yeah, I know, ouch, wife wasn't working last year. It has been a real struggle the last year or so. This is very welcome relief.

I have been working damn hard for damn little money most of my adult life, it seems unreal to think about making over $16/hr. I'm still the same person, just using education I got 19 years ago at tech. school. This means I'm only about 19 years behind schedule.

RE: 1/8 mi. I know for sure there's a seasonal, very small track in Lakeview, OR, yes Oregon. I plan to be there in August. My wife has family there, her uncle races a '56, or '57 Chevy. I would be very amused if I could kick his butt.

I e-mailed him to ask about his times, but he hasn't mailed me back.
