Looks miss.

Although I think my idea of the perfect back yard is the best........95% concrete/patio with BBQ, lounge chairs and a fridge to hold beer for all my F-Buds and 5% grass for my dog to do his business in.

Front yard........all rock & driveway is good to me.

No yard work is good yard work.

All the weed block we put down...no yard work all we have to do is let the goats loose and the grass is clipped.for the back yard all we have is patio a little grass....Trying to get naughty angel to let me distill beer again...She mutters something about breaking the law, and town drunks and retired cops hanging out on our doors step. That may not be a bad thing I could feed the 2 wolves then. WHEW...for a minute I thought u were talking about yourself (her) in the 3rd person.....that always scares me.

And if I am the retired cop you are talking about, the doorstep ain't where I will be hanging out at. Up where the puppy was looks good for me......then I can take pot shots at passing traffic while I wait for some home brewed beer

I love the idea. Wish i would have thought of that...Hmmm lets see if i start making beer now.You can stop in and have a few on your move to seattle(Hate for you to get all dehydrated on the long drive) Then we both can sit on the roof and take pot shots at passing traffic.
The local policeman that lives on the corner would come out the second you pulled up anyways..He has a boner for f-body's He won't ticket me Likes to see what my hotrod will do....As long as i'm doing it safely.

I am glad my twisted views are appreciated by someone.

I can wait for the homemade stuff.....I am gonna be driving up with my Mom (I drove up TWICE when her and my Father made the trek in '01 - he had to be up there 2 weeks earlier to start his job) so she owes me.

So just plan on a couple weeks after I get there the brewskies will be all fermented or whatever needs to be done and we can drink ourselves silly, show off our cars to your cop neighbor and shoot at cars with any number of fine, rarely if ever, used rifles and handguns I have.

Now wait just a minute ... there IS world outside Seattle! I can assure you we do NOT live in BFE ... we live about 2 blocks west of BFE Really, tho, we live in a brand new development in the lovely township of Moxee - which is just outside of Yakima ... just because there are hop fields surrounding us doesnt make it the middle of nowhere ... there are still plenty of cars to shoot at! LOL

As for the kid ... well, we just stepped on his foot one too many times and now he has to see an ortho at Children's for it! No, really, it is just a check-up for his used-to-be crooked little foot

Yeah, sorry, that's my bad on the BFE thing......I shoulda checked the "middle 'o nowhere" map to see that you are not quite in BFE.

Glad to hear it isn't anything life threatening for the lil one.

Heh heh heh it was for medical, but I got craziER after I retired.
As for rifles, you can choose from the AK-47, a 9mm AR-15 or a .223 AR-15.

They really don't live out in BFE, its actually a nice drive. Sometimes I've woken up, nice sunny day, took off and headed to the Columbia River (at Vantage) just for a couple of hours. Its a *really* short drive in the Z

Right now we have a small arsenal ourselves...SPAS 10 (sold the SPAS 12)...M4... .38 special...custom made 7.62, police issue 12g...USP 40...P230. Still waiting on the Barret .50 to get here.
(223 is the US number for the 7.62 which is the NATO numbering system).

Hmmmmmm
not a good idea to sneak up on us at our home

Sounds like me, the Rottie is my EWS (Early Warning System) and then I grab one of many guns to slice and dice the bad guys into lil tiny (and messy) pieces.

BTW, NICE sounding collection there.

Yeah, the dawg is our EWS as well. He gets lots of treats for that and was my primary "go away" alarm while hubby was deployed - though I never hesitated to have the SPAS 12 ready (ya can hit the broad side of a barn with no problem) with the .38 in easy reach just in case.
Yes. Some of you are wondering "in case of Osama showing up at your house or something?"
Well, sorta along those lines...

After the bad guys are sliced and diced The left overs can be fed to the dogs.. no evidence Hope the dogs don't get gas from the filthy scumbags.

I am all for overkill (no pun intended) when it comes to defending myself and those I care about.........one or five too many bad instances off-duty plus growing up with a Dad who has been a cop since the mid '60's will do that to a guy.

I would luv to get a look at your SPAS sometime......they have always intrigued me.
