My car is filthy so it might be a good time to take it to the track before I clean it up.

What time do I need to be there?
How much does it cost?
What do I need to bring?

I'm stuck at work until 4:30 tomorrow, so me going to the track after work is not an option. I'll go home, have a smoke and some drinks and dink around with the car.

Why no Bikini contest if its raining?? They can have it inside.

1. Gates open at 4pm. Most of us show up around 2:30 to change tires and shoot the bull.
2. Money: 30-35 for entry and number
3. Helmet, tools etc....

I'm not driving my car down there to take pictures if it's not nice out. Which was MY primary reason for going. The contest was icing on the cake.....

And I have a Snell 2000 helmet you can borrow if you need to Steve. A bike helmet (usually DOT rated) isn't good enough. Lemme know.

Not 100% sure yet. I need to see how things are going at work. The lead is out of town & we have some serious things going on that I need to make sure are taken care of. I want to leave here at 1:00 & go home to get the car & wife. When are you planning to go?

NOTE: I do not yet have my new plug wires, so my plans could fall apart

Mark, I will let you post up first tomorrow as to when and where to meet so we can head down. FYI, traffic will be a bitch so we want to get down 405 to 169 ASAP. I would rather be there early and let the car cool off than be in traffic.

Todd, my car is clean, real clean for that matter. The point is really driven home when people realize that I drive it everywhere including to little league baseball games. She'll get a standard wash and wax but that's it. No new bling to show either but a few track pics of her running in the rain!

Here is my plan guys. I have to work....the lead is gone & we have some HOT stuff to work on. But I hope to be able to take off at 1:00.

I got my car almost ready last night. I got my blue plug wires on (thanks to Ellis who donated wire #8) but they aren't the new ones. And since I have to remove the pass side valve cover to replace them, I am waiting until I get home to see if the nice man in the brown truck brought my 10.4 mm wires so I can put it together once.

So I need to do some work ot the car before I can leave, and I'd like to wash it (finally.....it's been 3 weeks!) But since it's going to be in the 90s today, I doubt I will put Jason skinnies on. Not much chance at running 12.1s today. But I will take them just in case. Once I get eliminated from the CCC, I might try putting them on & making one run for a lower ET.

So, I'm thinking I'll be leaving later rather than earlier. Probably 2:30 or 3. If you guys want to wait that long, cool. Otherwise I'll see you down there. And Linda is going so she can do some filming.

Wussy! We leave Kirkland at 5pm!

It is best to take a rider. hit the Dimond lanes. it will get tight around I-90. then shoot down to 167. head down 167 to the 220 exit. take it east through town till you hit the Fire station on the left. main road kind of ends. take a right. follow that till it ends. take a left and go over 18. take a right on to PR!

See you there slow boy!

Or take 169 off 405 over to 18. Or 515 off 405 down to 516 over to 18. Or....personally, I HATE taking 167 on Friday afternoon!
