Not sure if this is allowed on forum or not so just Delete if so.
I am looking for some people to work for me. I am the supervisor at Inter-rail transport in Renton, WA.
What we Do: We unload new cars off of Train cars. Mostly Ford product
We get some Honda and VW, We have recently acquired a contract with Mitsubishi and have started receiving some of there product.
The run down: This job is not all about "unloading" cars off train cars. There is a lot more to it then just that. It is about 40% physical, 60% not.
If you are interested post up here with a phone number and I, or my boss Matt Foster will give you a call. We are not some small business. My company is Nation-wide with over 50 ramps across the United States.
So for more details hit me up and I will go into more depth.

Weel first off this job is not for everyone. Sometimes you have long hours, sometimes you are out of here by noon. Your pay depends on how well your crew works. You can get paid the same amount of money for doing 10 hours of work as 5 hours of work. So here is the run down of how you get paid:
1.35 per car. On average you bring down 50 cars a day yourself, (On average) On big day you can get up o 135+ cars depending on the volume of railcars. The average hourly pay is right around 14 dollars/hour. But like I said on big days you can well exceed 20/hr. The average weekly pay is between 300-500 dollars. Busy weeks you can get well over 600-700 dollars.
The hardest part of the job, so everyone says, is "breaking chocks." These are things that hold the cars in place during the decent of the railcar so the vehicles will not move.
This is a very permenant job if you catch on well. Your working for Inter-rail Transport under (BNSF) Which is one of the major railroad Companies.
Full Time Work: Your available 7 days a week to work. Now as soon as we get a 7 man crew, including myself we will be switching to a 6 on 2 off schedule. Which would gurantee you 2 days off per week, and it would be a rotating schedule, so you are guranteed weekends off also.
Schedule: It differs week to week depending on the amount of railcars we receive, which would be on average 25 daily.
This is a basic rundown, If you are still interested post up again and I will go into more depth.

The interesting factor of this job is there is someone that worked there when I got my Z28. This was in the old days of the BBS Citadels (1993). I gave him my VIN and he gave me the dates and condition it arrived in to that station.
Not sure I ever knew his real name
