The sewing machine lives!!!
What do you guys in apartments do to clean your engines, I don't want the owners association seeing me cleaning my motor with the hose in front of the house.
My TSP 231/237, which has slow ramp rates, was actually fairly mild sounding under the hood even though it loped like crazy. My F13 doesn't lope as much, but due to faster ramp rates has a ton of that damn sewing machine sound. That stealth cam you have is supposed to be stealthy exhaust-wise... no one will know you have a cam unless they know exactly what they're listening for (i.e. sewing machine).
All and all not really hard except for the powersteering assembly and steering rack. The radiator is extremely easy funny cause the LS1howto makes it seem like a bitch you just have to take the hoses off first then pull it out.
Anyhoo enough stalling I'm going to start cleaning so I can take her for a ride. I'm kinda giddy
cam w/LOADEST **** EXAUST!
)This cam is everything I wanted without a tune it runs like stock, Accellaration at least to 4k is MUCH MUCH more linear than stock. The thing is a freaking monster its like driving on an ice rink and again I may have went to 4400 but I doubt it. It has not altered the drivablity of the car at all except that traction control doesn't seem to be able to come on quick enough for it.
WOW WOW WOW can't wait to get it tuned and to the track, top ten here I come!!!! The used to surge with a blip of the throttle now it LUNGES the whole car picks up and just lurches forward. I am EXTREMELY happy

Can't wait until tomorrow after the springs are heat cycled or whatever you call it to go to 6500 through the gears!!

Yeah I know which is closer to Tacoma?? I was going to come up this weekend but that B-que is WAY north. I think we should have a meet up in Centrilia or Olympia

The biggest difference is that we mostly go racing on Friday nights (gates open at 4pm) at Pacific, and when we go to Bremerton we go EARLY in the morning (gates open at 8am) on Saturdays.
As long as the weather holds out I'm planning on it. Its supposed to rain, but it was supposed to rain today too..
Jay I'd be down for the Friday night drags up there sometime I don't see that early Saturday morning unless I'm going to bed
Me I never cared what they said when I was doing my thing
The old days
Steph's car never did settle down. Then again .575 lift on a baby cam seems to be alot
I am going to ttry a new set of Lifters on hers this winter in hopes of getting it to calm down...and maybe open the air passages a little

I would say screw the neighbors but they are already pretty cool about the car, they really all could complain about the noise but most of them like it, as long as I don't take it out late on a weekday.

Ha I don't know about lowly F-bodies there are alot of them in this NW forum I wouldn't be able to hang with! We need to plan something up there maybe another dyno day or a track day or something.
