Todd the 2nd gen Camaro was also someone by the name of Doug. they think people should only win if the customized their car. Thats fine for people like you & Dan todd who have worked hard putting in the hours of doing the engine. BUt they want more they want only Customized paint as well People who Paint their own cars. & have Docs to prove it.

Because they spend so much time on their cars getting the paint just right.

Heck guys like you Todd & Dan have spent just as much time on the cars you own then he did. You guys just spent it on diff parts of the car.

Yeah, I was impressed with how fast your car was Ryan. FM11 right? NICE! I think most of you guys with cams & headers can hang with me from a roll. The only reason I run better 1/4 times is all the stuff I've added to get the launch down. The lesson here is with a little thought, it doesn't take much to make an LS1 run low 12s. And my lesson is I need more cam to get my top end to match the bottom end / mid range. Oh Linda, can I have a little more mod money?!

And you need to enter one of your cars in a show Bill! Either one could win a trophy. For sure the 71 would have yesterday....

Bill you should if not for any other reason because it is only $10 bucks (unlike other places you guys gather prob cost more) and is fun to BS vs a otherwise boring day sitting at home.

I am glad the weather held out.

Santa - is that trophy small enough to fit on your dash?
Congrats - now you just need to give us "Christmas in July"

Doug - I still have picts from last Augusts show so its time to see what you did during the winter. Yours is always a bit of a show stopper no matter what and it ain't a bad thing

Congrats guys!

Thanks to all. It was an awsome weekend. Getting into the 12's was far and away the best feeling, but spending time with all of you guys is what this is really all about. Everyones cars looked incredible. I had a great time. Bill and Howard, thanks for showing up, It was nice to have some new blood there. And Howard, thanks again for lunch.

Engine mods, paint work... it is all the same in the grand scheme of things. If you put the time into your ride to make it nice, then you should be rewarded. Some people like the engine mods, others are impressed by the body and paint work. It is just a matter of opinion.

I happen to agree with you there Mike but this other guy doesnt. He thinks that you should have pics proving you painted the car yourself. & docs as well.

but I am not going to bash another car club member on line. there is alot more to this guy then not.
