Default Hey Ellis

I've been thinking.....would you be interested in setting up a display at the Snohomish Show this year for Speed Secrets? I have a pop up canopy, you could make a banner to hang on it, and then sponsor a trophy for 1990 & up performance vehicles. I'd split the cost of the fees with you, as long as I get a say in the award. And I will do all the coordinating with the show folks.

I was thinking the canopy, your car (or Stephs) on one side, & mine on the other. With some specs, dyno charts, time slips, trophies etc sitting around on a table. And then your business cards and some literature about what services you offer. I'd even help man the tent.

Let me know if you are interested & I will contact them & see if it's possible. First, you need some cheap advertisement. Second, I want our era of cars to start getting some respect / recognition at these big shows. Win/win!

Mark

It's on Sept 25th. It's a BIG show with lots of VERY cool cars. Last year I would guess there was close to 10,000 people there, and 500 cars. Before you get excited, I will call them & see if we could do this.

You'd just have to buy a certain level of sponsorship to get a booth space at a large show like Snohomish... usually the bottom level sponsorship (around $50-$100) is just a trophy sponsor. Name gets attached to a trophy, name appears on the banner for show, in the sheet thanking sponsors in the goodie bags, etc. Higher level sponsorship (usually around $250+) is usually what it takes to get you a vendor space... it can be pretty pricey for the bigger shows, which is why I'm sticking mostly to the smaller ones this year.

This just based on the few I've checked into, like the Kirkland show, Snoqualmie show, and Tulalip show.

Why not all of ya go in on one? You could all have literature, business cards etc.... in the same booth, could you not? More people to run the booth giving those others time to check out the show. Win Win Win, now that would make Steven Covey proud!

That's not a bad idea... I need to set you up with your own commercial Amsoil account anyhow, Ellis.

I would be willing to contribute time/help for manning the booth and maybe even some $$ for the fee (in exchange for some help )

No. He had been hurting right before the move, but it wasn't until I got up here and had him get $2k+ worth of vets, specialists, x-rays and MRIs that I found out the real problems. Not my idea of fun.

On the car show: great idea so run with it like your *** is on fire. I need to get with Steph and find out about the T-Shirts & stickers so they can also be ready by then. Do you need wet T-shirt models?

Rott: Jake was just too funny being here on car wash day. Cracked me up he would just walk around with a tennis ball in his mouth confusing Ubu (the easily confused).
Just remember what I told you about a dawgs concept of "quality vs quantity". Big Hugs to you right now.

The sooner I know the better, it takes a constant reminder for the photo shoot girlz to be somewhere. They have some great tats and piercings to attract the singledon'thavetoaskthewife crowd.

Notice I didn't mention I would help at the booth? heh, I *know* my age would be a deterrent
