Question - do the LS1 water pumps leak out the bottom like normal small block chevy pumps? I have a small puddle in the garage in the center/front area of the engine, and I can see coolant on the front of the timing chain cover. So, if this was a SBC I'd know what it means. Does it mean the same thing for an LS1???

Hmmm... I'd think that if you had a bad water pump gasket it'd leak out the bottom like that.

Looks like I'll be spending some more money that I don't have anymore on a water pump. Sigh....and I won't make the next CCC race. Hopefully it's back together by the dbl pts race @ B-town on the 18th? Oh well, gotta keep up with Tranzor on wasting money.

I think so. Now if I can just find someone that can bead blast the ugly grey anodized coating off my alum P/S pulley so I can polish it....
